DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps engineer to join our team and help build a platform for distributing zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) requests to virtualized  and/or accelerated hardware instances.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement a Kubernetes infrastructure to distribute ZKP jobs to virtualized and/or accelerated hardware instances. Architecting scalable and highly available systems that can handle a large number of concurrent jobs while ensuring optimal resource utilization is a must.
  • Develop strategies to automate the deployment, orchestration and scaling of the infrastructure, as well as CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Design and implement a Kubernetes infrastructure to distribute ZKP jobs to virtualized and/or accelerated hardware instances. Architecting scalable and highly available systems that can handle a large number of concurrent jobs while ensuring optimal resource utilization is a must.
  • Establish a monitoring and alerting system to ensure the health, performance, and security of the distributed platform for use in a dashboard and log analysis.
  • Design customized workflows for ZK-native teams that leverage the capabilities of our infrastructure while optimizing performance, resource utilization, and security.
  • Collaborate closely with other team members to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure smooth integration of our platform.
  • Document the system architecture, deployment processes, and troubleshooting guides to enable knowledge sharing and facilitate future maintenance and enhancements.
Requirements:
  • Solid experience as a DevOps engineer, with a focus on building and maintaining distributed systems or platforms.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable infrastructure using orchestration and virtualization technologies.
  • Strong understanding of containerization (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of blockchain fundamentals and of ZKP protocols and their applications. Proficiency in writing ZKP circuits and an understanding of backend proving systems is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and automation tools.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and log analysis tools (e.g., Prometheus) for system observability.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
